The logo depicts the 'Flight to Egypt' because like the Holy Family who had to leave their homeland for Egypt to escape persecution by King Herod, migrants are also compelled to leave their homes for foreign countries for political and economic reasons. They often experience alienation, anxiety and uncertainty. ACMI recognizes the needs of the 'people of God on the move' and through its direct services hope to give them a sense of belonging.
